We currently maintain over 5,000 L.F. of expansion joints at O’Hare and Midway Airports. During our services, we inspect for tripping hazards, remove cover plates to clean out solvents and debris, overhaul but removing rust build-up and apply rust block to exposed steel, replace damaged or missing parts and install complete replacements when needed. Without the ongoing service to expansion joint there could be a potential problem of further deterioration, increase of liability/safety and mechanical issues that may arise.
