When
our servicemen perform our maintenance and inspection service
on your doors, we leave no stone unturned. First, we provide
lubrication to all bearings, chains, rollers, hinges, and
counter balance assemblies. Then, we tighten or replace any
loose or missing fasteners. Next, we adjust the counterbalance
assemblies, and motor operator settings (if equipped). Finally,
we do an inspection of the equipment looking for worn parts,
and proper operation of all parts and accessories. If a minimal
amount of material is needed, we will replace it at no additional
charge. If any other problems exist, we will submit a proposal
to correct the problems.
Decrease down time
When
a door is inoperable, it costs money. Lost heat, vehicles
not being able to enter or leave, and emergency service are
just a few examples. We keep your equipment working properly
by finding problems that could lead to inoperable doors.
Minimize excessive repairs and repair costs
We
find minor problems before they become major, more expensive
problems.
Increase the longevity of your equipment
Preventative
maintenance minimizes wear and deterioration, retains a good
appearance, and increases the security of your door and operator.
Increase Safety
The
counterbalance assemblies and other parts of the doors are
under extreme tension and, if left in a state of disrepair,
can lead to a dangerous situation for employees or anyone else
near your doors. We diagnose and correct problems before they
lead to dangerous situations.
Our customers get rewarded for their loyalty
Customers
participating in our Preventative Maintenance and Inspection
Service receive a 10% discount off our labor rate on included
doors for the first year of the program. The discount will
continue for each year that the program is renewed. The program
must be renewed within one year to maintain the discount. These
savings alone could pay for the service.
Related Maintenance and Inspection Programs
Maintenance
and inspection service programs are available on a wide variety
of other types of equipment. Pedestrian doors, gates, gate
operators, and mechanical dock levelers are just a few examples
of products that could be covered under our maintenance and
inspection service. Please call and ask if a program is available
for your equipment. You can also reach us by e-mail at info@builderschicago.com.
